Here's an alternate setup for character creation stats that will make dice rolls a lot scarier of a prospect for your players, and will make levelling up feel especially great.

2x OK. 

If I get the chance to do a Squishy 2e this will be covered as the standard distribution of stats, to make the game more balanced.
